(Above Right head shot) Union Jack (pictured at 1 1/2 years old) has an exquisite "pony" head and face, like both of his parents.  Overall he closely resembles his famous sire, Waverhead Robbie.

(Above and Left) Union Jack as a 2 y.o.  He has abundant silky feather and mane.  The red highlights seen in his mane from his baby coat have since mostly grown out, and he is jet black.

Laurelhighland Union Jack, a stunning 4-year-old stallion, is a wonderful example of the breed - non-fading jet black, beautiful conformation and movement, great hair and good bone!  At 4, his mane (which has grown naturally with no braiding or "pampering" whatsoever) falls half-way down to his knees!  He also has a very kind and sensible temperament, typical of the breed. Union Jack represents the "union" of 2 great stallion lines - Waverhead Model IV (his maternal grandsire) and Waverhead Robbie. His first offspring arrived in 2012 and 2013 and we are very pleased with the results!  He has frozen semen available via Select Breeders Services, which is qualified for EU export.  He is trained in harness and will begin training under saddle in 2013.  For more information, contact us.

Photos below show Laurelhighland Union Jack at 3 1/2 years old when he was started in harness by Nicole Cable.  (Union Jack took to driving like a duck to water - as expected!)  The bottom photo is back at home with his pal, "Drummy", a Dartmoor pony (and 2 yo LH Orion behind them).
