| Evelyn" is also black with a few white hairs
above brow and a little white on the left heel (usually totally covered
by tons of black feather!). She has a beautiful "typey"
conformation with lots of bone and a compact yet powerful
build, a huge tail and
gorgeous silky mane and very
sweet nature. She is the oldest pony and matriarch of our herd. She is also an accomplished driving pony and has successfully competed in CDE. She
has many beautiful foals to her credit, including Laurelhighland Lyric whom we
have retained for our breeding stock.
Like Lownthwaite Orange Blossom,
Evelyn is also 1/2 sister to HM The Queen's pony, Lownthwaite
Duchess. Sadly, we lost our dear, old Evelyn when she passed away in 2008 at the age of 20. We hope her daughter, Laurelhighland Lyric, will carry on her great legacy here at our farm. For more information, contact us.
