As a North American foundation sire and
premier ambassador for the Fell Pony breed, Robbie is featured in the
textbook Equine Photos & Drawings for Conformation and Anatomy (D. Wagoner, ed., Equine Research Inc., 1999). "Robbie" is a
solid jet black stallion with a beautiful head and neck, correct
conformation, exuberant feather, mane and a "tail-and-a-half"(!), and lovely
gaits -- a classic
example of a Fell stallion! His stunning good looks and amazing
presence have earned him admirers throughout North America. He is the son of the U.K.'s 2000 Supreme Champion stallion "Waverhead Prince
II". Robbie is a proven sire with many beautiful offspring, including several
licensed sons. He has the typical, wonderful disposition that is characteristic
of the Fell. He usually stamps his offspring with his beautiful head
as well as his great temperament. Robbie has been formally trained in dressage and driving. He made his showing debut at Equitana USA 2000 (Louisville, KY), where he was a big hit! He has successfully competed in regional, national and international driving competitions since 2001. See also our "News" page for more competition and exhibition photos! Robbie is currently available for breeding with cooled, shipped semen or frozen semen. For more information, contact us.
