Guards Blossom (a.k.a. "Jasmine" -- to avoid confusion with our other "Blossom"!) is all black and was imported June, 2000. With two in our barn by the same name, it seems there must be something about the name "Blossom" that means "outstanding temperament" -- she couldn't possibly be any more laid back and sweet-natured! Jasmine is pictured in the 1996 FPS Studbook as "2-Year-Old Champion Filly" at the Breed Show. In 1999 she was successfully shown under saddle in the UK and was crowned "Supreme Champion" (shown above). Her sire, "Duke", has produced many champion Fells and he currently stands at stud in Germany. (To visit Duke's web site (in German), .) Guards Blossom's 1/2 sister Lownthwaite Skylark II, owned by HM The Queen, was Fell Pony Champion at the 2002 Royal Windsor Horse Show. Jasmine has several beautiful foals to her credit, including twins! (See the News page for the story about them!) Her offspring are in California, New York and Michigan.
