Poppy is a beautiful solid jet black mare who earned many championships and other prizes in the UK before export. She has brilliant action, a beautiful head, long mane and lots of feather. She is trained under saddle and, like most Fells, is quiet and easy to handle. Like all of our Fell ponies she came from northern England, where she was raised on the Cumbrian fells. She made her showing debut here in North America at Dressage at Devon 2005, where she won not only the Fell Pony Championship but also the Supreme Mountain & Moorland Pony Championship. Her 2004 colt, Laurelhighland Jake, also won the Reserve Fell Pony Championship at Dressage at Devon 2004. She has a number of other gorgeous offspring to her credit, including her 2005 filly Laurelhighland Athena whom we have retained for our future breeding stock. For more information, contact us.
